Low Level Exit Signs

With photoluminescent exit signs, who needs difficult electric installations? With these non-electric, non-radioactive photoluminescent exit signs, electric wiring is unnecessary. Easy-to-install photoluminescent signs are illuminated by Strontium Oxide Aluminate pigment, which absorbs and stores light energy for release under blackout conditions.

The signs function without electric or battery power. You can choose a photoluminescent glow-in-the-dark Exit Sign from our flat surface-mount and box model Exit Sign designs. These signs harness the power of photoluminescence to mark egress pathways or exit doors. Photoluminescent signs require minimal maintenance; just wipe them clean, and your photoluminescent exit signs will glow for year after year.

• Photoluminescent Strontium Oxide Aluminate pigment is incorporated with the Exit sign base material to provide maximum afterglow luminescence visible in darkness from a distance of 50 feet. Every Exit sign features more than 90 minutes of exit sign illumination in a total blackout situation. See the photos on the left; this is what the sign really looks in the dark!

• Easily mount on a flat surface, side mount on a wall, or hang from the ceiling. Universal mount is included. Lock-on chevrons are also included - for installation flexibility.

• Signs are visible for 50 feet or more in a blackout. Mount signs near a consistent natural or fluorescent lighting source.

• Photoluminescent signs are ideal for low location mounting. More and more fire marshals require this placement in your egress pathways.
